Elias Quijano, Ph.D.

Elias Quijano is a Senior Associate at Northpond Ventures and supports origination, sourcing, diligence, monitoring efforts of portfolio companies and new company incubation. Previously, Elias was co-founder and senior research advisor for Gennao Bio, a privately held genetic medicines company developing first-in-class, targeted nucleic acid therapeutics. Earlier, he was a Blavatnik Fellow at Yale, where he worked directly with faculty to build new companies related to their academic discoveries. He was also a co-Director of Operations for the New Haven chapter of Nucleate Bio, a student-run bio-entrepreneurship program. Elias received a Ph.D. in Genetics and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University.
