A spinout from the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University, Torus Bio is delivering breakthrough innovations in infectious disease diagnostics. Torus shifts the paradigm for how and where infectious diseases are diagnosed and treated. Instead of traditionally ordering a series of tests that only target one or two pathogens, clinicians can use a single Torus test to rapidly and simultaneously identify a large number of pathogens with greater sensitivity and specificity, facilitating precision diagnostics during a patient visit – all in under 30 minutes.
